The Queen Mother's Memorial
The Queen Mother's Memorial at St Paul's Walden
This memorial was commissioned by the local community to celebrate the life of Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, it is situated in the grave yard of All Saints Church in direct line between The Berry (the family home of the Bowes-Lyon's, where she grew up) and the tower of the church she frequently visited. It is made predominantly of Portland stone, with knapped flint panels and the metal finial on the top resembles those found inside the church.
